MaxBill Ukraine, MaxBill's first fully owned subsidiary, was established
in Kharkov in July 2000 as part of MaxBill's vision for global expansion.
The branch is the development center for a number of MaxBill products and
project implementation efforts, while also being utilized as a local support
center for MaxBill customers and business partners in Eastern Europe.
MaxBill Services, located in Donetsk, Ukraine, is the company's second R&D
site. The branch was established in July 2001 and functions as the fast
growing and successful development center for several MaxBill products,
as well as housing implementation efforts for many MaxBill
customization projects.
We are currently recruiting highly qualified, experienced and motivated
specialists for the following positions in our Donetsk Branch:
- PROJECT MANAGER
- Responsibilities:
- Project Development - Overall responsibility for all technical
deliverables including delivery of system to Acceptance test
- Technical design Coordination of solution session and
participation in technical design definition
- Management of technical staff involved in project development
- Planning of development activities, assignment of staff resources
and coordination of deliveries
- Version/Release configuration
- Responsible for development environment
- Background and Experience:
- Team Leader experience - minimum 3 years
- Team Leader experience in billing/finance project development
- Experience with RDBMS environment, e.g., MS-SQL, Oracle
- Experience with OOD and OOP
- Experience with C++, and Web application development tools - advantage
- Knowledge of CC&B business areas - advantage
- Knowledge of financial systems development advantage
- Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or similar field
- Management and leadership skills minimum 3 years
- Good analytical and design skills
- Knowledge of project management/implementation methodology
- Knowledge of development standards
- Excellent spoken/written English and interpersonal skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- TEAM LEADER
- Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate the team
- Establish clear goals and direction for the team according
to project priorities and objectives
- Set work priorities for each team member, monitor progress,
and meet with members on an as needed basis to discuss
performance issues
- Establish and monitor work schedules, vacation schedules
and team work coverage issues
- Work with team members to establish performance objectives,
correct performance deficiencies, and to enhance professional
development
- Conduct annual performance evaluations of team members
- Software Architecture Design
- Web-based product development
- Support standards of source code
- Unit testing
- Background and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or similar field
- Software development experience with Internet database
transaction systems minimum 3 years
- Management experience - minimum 2 years
- Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Java (J2EE desirable)
- A firm understanding of HTML, ISAPI, XML and security software
- Experience with several DB environments, e.g., MS-SQL, Oracle
- Experience with multi-tier applications, web design, OOP,
client-server technology
- Good spoken and written English skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Good problem solving skills
- SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER
- Responsibilities:
- Web-based product development
- Support standards of source code
- Unit testing
- Background and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or similar field
- Software development experience with Internet database
transaction systems minimum 3 years
- Management experience - advantage
- Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Java (J2EE desirable)

- Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Computer Sciences
- QA experience
- Familiar with QA tools such as: Win Runner, Quick Test - Advantage
- Background in Billing / CRM systems - Desirable
- Requirements:
- Programming skills Advantage
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good organizational skills
- Fluent English
- Good communication and problem solving skills
