- MaxBill expands its product offerings within the Scarlet Group
- June 30, 2005, Israel – Scarlet Belgium, a leading Telecom Operator offering fixed line connection for phone and data services, as well as internet access broadband, carrier select and pre-select services, and MaxBill, a market leader in providing comprehensive, financial customer management and billing solutions, today announced the selection of MaxBill's Intercarrier Baseline. With this move, Scarlet will replace three legacy systems currently in place, all being a heritage from previous takeovers.
Designed to surpass the most advanced intercarrier needs of the Telco industry, MaxBill's Intercarrier Baseline empowers Scarlet to handle its growing volumes of network traffic generated by new mobile and fixed line intercarrier partnerships. With Intercarrier implementations in Europe since 1999, MaxBill's proven performance capabilities provide Scarlet with robust rating, superior network partnerships management, and end-to-end billing integrity.
MaxBill's Intercarrier Baseline can be installed as a stand-alone system interfacing with a separate customer care and billing system or as part of a complete MaxBill solution. System modularity and flexibility supports the seamless integration of MaxBill's Intercarrier product with other MaxBill products already installed at Scarlet in the Netherlands, enabling Scarlet Group to further maximize their investments.
"We were looking for a scalable solution to meet our growth strategy, along with proven functionality to ensure accurate pricing and global call accountability," said Bob Lokhorst, Scarlet Group's CFO. "MaxBill continues to provide superior technology, which ensures the smooth monitoring of carrier-to-carrier calls, improved customer service, and increased ROI, while responding rapidly to changing technology requirements."
"Scarlet Belgium's selection of MaxBill is an expression of its confidence in MaxBill's offerings and strong delivery capabilities. This win reinforces our growing partnership with the Scarlet Group, which is proving to be one of the most rapidly growing multi-play carriers in Europe," said Hadar Himmelman, MaxBill's CSO. "Our scalable and configurable Intercarrier Baseline will enable Scarlet to meet dynamic market conditions by increasing intercarrier rating efficiency and ensuring Scarlet's continued growth and success in the Belgian market."
