  • September 20, 2007, Tel Aviv, Israel – MaxBill, a market leader in providing comprehensive, customer management and billing solutions, today announced that MaxBill's end-to-end Customer Care and Billing system has been selected for a new governmental toll road project, together with Siemens represented by Orad.

    MaxBill's CC&B product will provide the dynamic billing capabilities for Israel’s toll road project. Variable tolls will be adjusted in accordance with fluctuating traffic volume on the country's main highway to meter traffic and maintain free flow.

    As a subcontractor of Siemens, MaxBill's billing system will interface with the Siemens Traffic Management System to monitor highway traffic conditions with short and long term prediction capabilities. The system will utilize video-based tolling via sophisticated Siemens cameras, as well as data from the toll system. The integrated technology of MaxBill and Siemens will automatically access the details of the vehicle's owner, provide the bill and supervise debt collection.
